We accept a variety of payment methods including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other digital wallets via the website. In the shop, we accept cash, Apple Pay, and tappable credit/debit cards.

If you ordered a book in person at the shop, we will email/text when your book arrives for pick up. Most of our orders arrive Wednesday through Friday via UPS. Arrival times fluctuate based on the time of year and schedule of UPS drivers. Typically, our inventory is delivered between 1PM and 3PM.
For orders being shipped, we'll send you a tracking number via email. Distributors can take up to 72 hours to create a tracking number. Most publishers and warehouses do not work on weekends.
Orders for signed/personalized copies of books may take longer, as we work with the author's schedule.

We no longer accept returns, only exchanges and store credit. If your book was damaged in transit, we will replace it at no cost. This typically takes a week.

Yes, we do ship internationally. Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on the destination. Please reach out for estimates.

You can cancel or modify your order within 24 hours of placing it. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can modify our orders accordingly. If you cancel your order after this time, we will charge a restocking fee.

Yes, we offer digital and physical gift cards in various denominations. You can purchase them directly from our website or in person at the shop.

If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately so we can arrange for a replacement. Items may be shipped from the shop or directly from various warehouses/distributors.

We do! We currently have two clubs, "Adult Fiction" and "Myth & Legend."
Adult Fiction meets on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30pm and Myth & Legend meets on the second Thursday of the month at 6pm.To join, we ask that you purchase the books from us, in-store or here. You can also make a comparable donation or purchase if you already own the title.
You can find our calendar of events, which lists upcoming dates and times. We hope you can join us in the future! -
First off, congrats on your book! We love working with authors of all genres. Please fill out the author form at the bottom of the Events page. We can't source books published via Amazon, however, we will consider them on consignment. We will not consider any books written using AI or covers made with AI.

We would love to partner with you for an event. A Novel Hosts over 100 events per year, including book clubs, book talks, workshops, and more. If you're interested in hosting an author event, please fill out the form at the bottom of the Events page. All other event inquiries should be emailed to us.
We typically book 1-2 months in advance and can only accept a handful of events.

Yes! Christina is the author of two short story collections, She is a Beast and Creole Conjure. We always have signed copies in stock.
Keep an eye out for her debut folk horror novel, The Last Sheaf, releasing in Fall 2027.

Yes! Christina offers monthly tarot readings at the store and is available to book by appointment. You can submit a tarot reading or tarot event request here.
We also have a secondary tarot reader for special events, like Flavor on the Avenue. All special events are walk-ups only.

If you're a local artist, please note we will not carry items already sold or on consignment at businesses on our block. We want to keep our offerings unique!

Yes! Please provide the Security Processing Center, the inmate's name, and the inmate's number when submitting your order.
The Department of Corrections only accepts books from original source vendors like bookstores, publishers, and online distributors. Do not send any publications directly.
