A stroke drops seventy-six-year-old Dario Esposito into Green Acres, a rehab facility that feels more like a bureaucratic purgatory than a place to heal.

Armed with sarcasm, stubbornness, and a walker he refuses to respect, Dario navigates malfunctioning hallways, overworked staff, and the nightly chorus of institutional despair. His unlikely anchor becomes the Colonel-an aging, battle-hardened roommate who runs their shared room like a military unit and hides a past that collides with Dario's own grief.
