The Winter King

A coyote ventures out into the woods in the midst of a long, strange winter in this wordless graphic novella.

The world is changing, the woods are changing. But life must still go on. An animal's gotta eat, and that means heading out into the cold, dark woods. Many things lurk amidst the frozen trees, some ancient, some . . . newer additions. And among it all, the brambles grow ever more tangled and twisted.

Matt Emmons is a comics artist based in Philadelphia. Raised on a healthy diet of 80's monster movies, he spends much of his time drawing creatures that feature mostly as the main characters of his own comics. His work has been published by Heavy Metal Magazine, Metal Hurling, and Comixology Originals, along with several self published titles.
